What it's all about... No itinerary?

     I had so much fun on last year's trip that I have decided to make a hobby out of traveling for less and sharing my experience with you. I gauge the success by my kids smiling faces while they gabble on with their friends about how much fun they had last Summer. It makes me feel good to see them excited about this year too. "There's no way this Summer vacation can be better than the last," they claim. But, I intend to prove to them that it can.


     My objective is to see how much fun can be had on limited funds, and to prove that you don't have to buy in to heavily marketed vacation resorts and tourist traps to have a good time.  Our trips are not planned out. When we hit the interstate, we never know where we will end up. No itineraries or reservations, just a family on the open road having a blast.
